“WeatherGuard” Power Source Combines Outstanding Multi-Process Performance with Rugged Environmental Protection

Florence, SC – ESAB Welding & Cutting Products is pleased to introduce the ESAB 653Ecvcc WeatherGuard power source. Now, the same high performance of the ESAB 653cvcc multi-process DC machine is available in a weatherproof, environment-resistant package.

Designed for the harshest welding environments, the ESAB 653E WeatherGuard is protected from damage caused by water, salt spray, metal dusts, corrosive mists and more. It has an all stainless steel base, frame and fasteners, and the side panels and top are made from a non-corrosive, non-flammable, high impact composite. All power components, connectors, terminals and support structures are covered with a durable, clear protective coating. The electronic control circuitry is completely enclosed and sealed.

Rated 650 amps at 44 vdc, 100% duty cycle, the ESAB 653E WeatherGuard has more outstanding features than other machines in its class, including a 115 vac outlet for a water circulator or tools. It offers versatile performance for a wide range of solid MIG, flux cored arc, sub arc and stick welding, as well as carbon arc gouging. This heavy duty, industrial, three-phase machine is ideal for outdoor construction and repair, shipbuilding and other punishing conditions. ESAB’s new 653Ecvcc WeatherGuard is available as a power source unit or a ready-to-weld package with the Mig 4HD wire feeder.
