28 316L Hi-Sil General Characteristics All-State® 316L Hi-Sil is a smooth flowing, high deposition wire with low carbon content. Especially useful in avoiding carbide precipitation. Typical Applications Excellent for corrosion resistance when used on equipment subject to sulphuric, sulphurous, cellulosic and organic acids (citric acids) usually found in paper mills, die plants, food processing plants, breweries, distilleries, slaughter houses and commercial food canneries.
