6     ALL-STATE®Air Hardening     Typical Application: Repair of Forming Die.     *Also available in MIG and TIG If using TIG rods, you must determine whether the air hardening tool steel is in the "A" series or "D" series.  You must use a different type TIG rod for each series.  For type D2 tool steels, it is also important to know whether steel is in the annealed or hardened condition.
